Publishing Information:

First hardcover edition published by Doubleday in 1955.
Of the first edition, 50 copies were specially bound in bright red linen cloth with gilt-stamping and no dust-cover exclusively for the use of Ray Bradbury. It is reported that Bradbury added dust jackets to many of these copies and used them as presentation copies.
Illustrated by Joseph Mugnaini.

First paper edition published by Ballantine in 1956.
This edition includes a prefatory note by Ray Bradbury.

This edition had nine printings through June 1972.

First British hardcover edition published by Rupert Hart-Davis in 1956.

First British paper edition published by ACE in 1961.

Second British paper edition published by Four Square in 1963.

A hardcover edition was published by Knopf in 1970.

A trade paper edition was released by Del Rey (Ballantine) in 1996.
