All Summer in a Day -- Movie
- Release Date: 1982
- Director: Ed Kaplan
This movie is set on a planet where the sun shines for just a few minutes once every nine years. Margot, a wistful child who yearns for her sunny past on earth, pays dearly for her sensitivity when, as a victim of teasing, she is locked in a closet during the sun's rare appearance. The other children, overwhelmed by the event, have forgotten and left her there. When she is released, it is too late: the rain has begun to fall again.
Produce by LCA for the NBC Peacock Showcase.
